The KOMPLETE 12 SELECT software is included with eleven premium instruments and effects such as MASSIVE, MONARK, THE GENTLEMAN, MASCHINE Essentials, and more. It also features an arpeggiator, integrated scale mapping, single key chords, and more. The KOMPLETE KONTROL S88 also features a plethora of other useful features such as the Light Guide, which allows you to identify drum cells, key switches, phrases, scales, and chords by way of multicolored lights that shine above the keys. What's more, a Preview Sound function now lets you hear sounds when browsing presets to help with a fast and efficient workflow. Sounds can also be searched using musical tags and keywords. It allows you to search sounds across all KOMPLETE and NKS instruments by simply pressing the controller's Browse button and turning the push encoder to select your instrument and sound. When used with KOMPLETE, the KOMPLETE KONTROL software allows for unified browsing from a single plug-in. The S88 is designed to be used with all software- and hardware-based MIDI instruments and features expanded integration with KOMPLETE 9, KOMPLETE 10, KOMPLETE 11, and KOMPLETE 12 such as automatic parameter mapping.

Other notable upgrades include a four-directional push encoder, eight touch-sensitive knobs, ergonomic pitch and mod controls, an assignable touch-sensitive smart strip, and dedicated MASCHINE controls with access to Scenes, Patterns, and Tracks. Right now i can just mark 1 target to edit things. The Native Instruments KOMPLETE KONTROL S88 MK2 builds upon the success of the original with an updated user interface featuring two high-resolution displays and more buttons for faster direct control over parameters. Its so much work to change the settings again and again in every single field.īy the way it would be really nice to be able to change absolute or realtive mode in resolume midi settings for all marked targets. I did a lot of testing but did not come to a conclusion and i would like to knwo whats best to mess with cause I also would like to knwo what are the best midi settings for the clips in resolume. In both ways the output works fine as long as i do not have a layer focused mapping to trigger clips the same time. If i make it gate i can let it work on absolute mode in resolume. If i make it trigger style i have to set it up as relative 0-127 in resolume to let it work more than one time. I tried to set it up as a gate or trigger.

I decided to use CCs (Control Channel) instead of notes but i really get strange behaviour of the outputs.Ĭan CCs cause any trouble? Are notes better than CCs?Īnother thing is the style of the controller button. I would like to know what settings works best / most safe to trigger the clips in resolume. (I think it is not possible right now without making massive bome translator mapping).Īs some of u may know i can do a lot of controller side settings with the ni controller editor. I use Native Instruments controllers and work on a deck focused mapping for a maschine jam &Ī layer focused mapping for a maschine mkIīefore i was using only the mkI as a layer focused all in one controller but never was able to get the outputs working to how they should work. While working on my midi mappings i ran into trouble with correct outputs for playing clips on the controllers.
